Clear communication is an important part of psychiatric care. Patients who prefer to communicate in Spanish can receive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing follow-up with a Spanish-speaking psychiatric provider at Mindful Over Matter.
Our approach is individualized and begins with a comprehensive review of symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, current medications, stressors, sleep, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. Care is designed around the needs of the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.
We evaluate and treat concerns that may include anxiety, depression, attention and concentration difficulties, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, sleep concerns, and other psychiatric conditions within the scope of the practice.
When medication is clinically appropriate, treatment decisions are made collaboratively with ongoing monitoring for response, tolerability, and changing clinical needs.
Services may include: comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, mental-health screening, ongoing follow-up, therapy-informed support, and telepsychiatry when clinically appropriate.

Dianna Maldonado is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric care in both English and Spanish. Her clinical experience includes psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacologic management, trauma-informed care, and telepsychiatry.
Spanish-speaking patients may communicate directly with Dianna in Spanish during appropriate psychiatric evaluations, medication-management appointments, and follow-up visits.
